Solum

Solum (SOH-luhm) is by far the largest country, insofar as usable land goes. They have fertile fields and vast forests, a bounty of lakes and rivers, and plenty of pristine coast. This results in an ample annual harvest, which they use as their main trade commodity. Their usable territory, though some of it is disputed, is still the most expansive of the three main countries.

In addition to their plentiful agricultural commerce, Solum also has claim to a thriving paper industry. This grants them not only more goods for trade, but a way of easily recording and organizing people and materials. It is due to this, as well as the aforementioned agrarian wealth, that they are able to marshal large armies, making them a force to be reckoned with even against Sei's magical ingenuity. As far as more peaceful crafts go, they harbor many skilled weavers and tapestry-makers, and these products are valued all across the continent.

Of all the countries of Cheled, Solum is the most religiously diverse. There are followers of any and all the gods present in Solum, though none of the gods are considered to be the patron deity of the nation. The country is lead by a monarch descended from an ancient ruling house, who is in turn advised by an appointed council of nobles and mages.
