ADK's the big webcomic fan, and here's the webcomics she recommends. :3
Fallen
Warning- this comic updates once in a blue moon. However, if you don't mind this, it's an amazing comic, with perhaps the most developed world and panthology I have yet seen on a webcomic. Its art and characters are fantastic and I definitely would definitely recommend it.
Inverlock
One of my favorite webcomics, this has frequent and consistent updates, beautiful art, and a story that draws you in. If you haven't read it yet, you should.
Kagerou
Warning- Definitely a mature comic. But the artwork is beautiful, characters wonderful and story interesting. Again, however, it's for adult readers.
Directions of Destiny
I first read this comic ages ago, and rediscovered it again rather recently. I don't hear much about it, which is sad since it's a great comic with breathtaking artwork.
Blackbird
A webcomic with highly professional art and an interesting story. Definitely not something you want to miss!
Haru Sari
Though it's still just beginning, this comic definitely has me intrigued. It's got nice artwork and consistent updates.
Faux Pas
This is a very cute gag comic featuring a group of animals. It's well drawn and nice for all ages.
Shivae
Shivae is actually just one of many ongoing stories of this world. I'm amazed by the sheer amount the author is able to get out. The worlds tend to be well-developed, and the stories good. My personal favorites are probably Alien Dice, Shivae, and Pure. :3
Airshell
This comic is incredible. It was the unbelievable art that caught my eye and got me reading. The structure of the world seems incredibly solid, from refferences to backgrounds, and the story is eery and fascinating. Highly recommended.
The Realms of Aegis
Though this comic is still starting up, its got some good artwork and gorgeous backgrounds, and looks like it could be something fantastic. Totally worth checking out. :3
Alpha Shade
This is one I've been following for a while. The creators have done things in Flash I didn't think were possible. They also have rants which are awesome, and extremely funny. Definetly worth looking into.
Clipped Wings
I first saw this a while ago. It's got a very interesting concept. I don't think I can word it well, so you should just check it out for yourself!
Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire
Even Lara loves this one, and she's not so big into the webcomics as ADK. This is a fantastic comic, with incredibly developed characters that I assume you'll love, because I know I do. It even updates daily! Woo! But beware: there is an alarming abundance of puns to be had. You have been warned!
No Rest for the Wicked
If you like, or have liked fairy tales, read this comic. There are very interesting twists on the familiar stories.
Clan of the Cats
This is one of the webcomics I saw when I first got into them, years ago. When my first computer crashed, several years back, the link was lost, so I was happy to find it again, recently. A very awesome comic; I highly reccomend it. It has humor and action, and is one of those great reads.
Flipside
Warning- this one is for mature readers. It's another one that Lara also likes. I love the style, it's got a very distinctive look. The characters are unusual and brilliant, and the setting is intriguing. A pleasure, all around.
Hurrocks Fardel
Another one that I've loved since reading it; I tend to be drawn to stories involving dreams and fantasy, and the fact that this has a dragon it, only adds to its appeal. I highly recommend this one to anyone who hasn't read it.
Alpha Luna
Warning- for mature audiances, but a beautiful, and very professionally illustrated manga about werewolves. It's very intriguing, and most definitely worth taking a look at.
Terinu
Terinu is a beautifully done sci-fi comic. The setting is fully-fleshed and believable, and the characters are sure to grow on you. Definitely a recommended read.
Vampirates!
The name says it all: vampire pirates, who also happen to be Canadian! What's not to love? Seriously, great, distinctive characters manifested through fine artwork. Check it out.
Lullaby
Lullaby is an intriguing and well-drawn take on children's stories, woven together to create its very own tale. Very interesting, and highly recommended.
Drowtales
Drowtales is a comic that I've seen before, and for reasons unbeknownst to me, never actually read. Well, I finally did and have no idea why I delayed. This is a fantastic comic, with a well developed world and characters, gorgeous artwork and it's definitely worthy of your time.
Spirit Academy
This one is written and drawn by a friend of ADK's who she's looked up to since high school. Since the creator started it in high school, didn't do it for a while then picked it up again in college, the skill jump in the art is amazing. Anyway, as for story it's a humerous shoujo fantasy comic, and most certainly worth reading.
